街を花で明るくしたい。「花の力」で人を元気にしたい。そんな想いから「福島の花」シリーズを撮影しています。花は人の感情に触れ心のドアを開く力があります。花を通してどこか記憶の中にある花へとリンクし楽しかったこと悲しかった事と想いを馳せる力があります。この「福島の花」を見た方々が、ひと時でも安らぎを感じ楽しい気持ちになれるそんな一つになる事ができたならと写真家の視点から花に接し撮影を続けています。
I wanted to brighten up the town; I wanted to cheer up everyone by the “power of flowers.” I have been photographing the Flowers of Fukushima series with these hopes. Flowers are capable of touching people's emotion and opening the door to their heart. They have power to remind us of the moment of both happiness and sorrow, linking us to the flowers we have somewhere in our memory. I have been working with this viewpoint as a photographer in order for the people to enjoy little moments of peace and happiness through the “Flowers of Fukushima”.
